Mă gîndesc că toată lumea a auzit deja de atentatele din 11 septembrie 2001 cînd s-au prăbuşit turnurile gemene de la Word Trade Center din New York. Dacă nu aţi auzit ieşiţi de sub bolovanul din fundul peşterii după care v-aţi ascuns în ultimii 10 ani şi ceva şi interesaţi-vă. Foarte probabil ştiţi deja că americanii (încă) folosesc sistemul englezesc de notare a datei: lună/zi/an, iar data de 11 septembrie 2011 a devenit la ei 9/11/2011 (september 11 2011).[...]

De curînd a avut loc concursul local (adică cel românesc) de frumuseţe pentru a alege o fată care să reprezinte România pentru Miss World. Pînî la urmă s-a decis ca Alexandra Stănescu, o tînără de 21 de ani din Dîmboviţa, să ne reprezinte la competiţia care va avea loc pe 6 noiembrie la Londra (a 61-a ediţie). Pe voi nu vă deranjează refluxul media care s-a format în ultimele zile cu ocazia împlinirii unui deceniu de la "atacul terorist" care a distrus turnurile gemene de la World Trade Center din New York? Azi se împlinesc 9 ani de la atentateţe care au doborît turnurile gemene World Trade Center din New York.
